In Germany, ABC Design is a highly regarded household name when it comes to baby products, and its pushchairs and car seats have been seen here in the UK for some time now. Its tandem Zoom pushchair – famed for its face-to-face seating option – has recently had a makeover, so we have put it through the Pushchair Expert test.

I’m Katy, a 31 year old Mum from Letchworth in Hertfordshire. I live with my husband James (who is clever, funny and handsome … his words) and our two little squishies. Hattie (our resident nutcase) will be 3 in July, and Charlie (our little chubber) is 4 months. I am a qualified Primary school teacher, a childminder and a self confessed pushchair fanatic. Although I do drive I much prefer to walk (maybe it’s because my car is just not as exciting to me as a pushchair!) and we attend lots of toddler groups, go to the park or to the library. I am absolutely delighted to be testing out the UPPAbaby Vista and cannot wait for its arrival so that I can try it out with my little ones!
iCandy are the epitome of style and substance in the Pushchair world. British born, designed and engineered; their definitive pushchair collection oozes quality on every level. We take a closer look at the new Peach Blossom.
If you want comfort and space for your children, for either siblings close in age or twins, this is definitely a pushchair to check out.
The new phil&teds dash is ready to take on cities and parks, so let’s take a closer look.
My name is Roberta and I live in Kent with my husband and two sons. I work in the Arts but I’m currently on maternity leave having just had my second son Drew in December.
My older son, Kipp, will be 3 in February and is adjusting to life as a big brother (he’s doing remarkably well too). We live in a beautiful rural village where I play an active role in the running of my local village hall. I also enjoy going for days out with friends and family and I’m looking forward to sharing our Phil & Ted’s Navigator adventures with you all.
Tandems are often a compromise of one child over the other, so they are never perfect, however the iCandy provides a great balance that keeps everyone happy – Mum, child 1 and child 2.
We have seen several lovely pushchairs coming out from the Jané house of pushchair design recently, and they hope to add another success here with their new in-line double – the Jané Twone.
The phil&teds Verve is a sleek and sophisticated inline that is extremely attractive. It’s the arrogant but good looking member of the phil&teds family – you know the sort, loved by women, envied by men and good at everything! With the Verve under the microscope, we shall find out if this charmer has an Achilles heel!
The Kobi is a dream to push and amazing looking but does trade some practicality for style. Future versions of this pushchair will be amazing and worth looking out for. This seems to be the concept car to the more practical equivalent to come.
Having seen the B-Dual on display at various trade shows, I have been dying to get my hands on the real thing to see how practical this multi-mode system really is. In the vibrant signature colour – Purple Rain on the all black chassis – we have the B-Dual with car seat, carrycot, soft carrycot and second seat all in for review.
