Place baby on seat so baby is straddling seat facing away from parent. With one hand on baby, use your free hand to walk the carrier up baby’s torso. Put arm through one shoulder strap. Switch hands so that you can put the other arm through the shoulder strap. Now reach behind your neck to clip the chest belt piece. (You may need to adjust the chest belt piece to a more comfortable place, most people prefer it between their shoulder blades). Tighten shoulder straps. Safety checks for positioning and airway.
