Meet i-Base advance, part of the complete i-Size safe system ready to grow from birth to 105cm/4 years. Pair with Joie’s i-Gemm™, i-Snug and i-Venture™ car seats for one simple system and endless adventures. The i-Base has safety built in – the 10 position retractable ISOFIX connectors lock the base securely to vehicle, whilst the integrated rebound bar and dual adjust support leg reduce rotation upon impact.
Colour indicators confirm the correct installation of base, support leg, and child seat and the child seat pops off in an instant with a simple button push.

As a first time mum I’ve done a lot of reading around car seats and isofix bases. I decided on the Joie system because of the 7 tilt positions on the base for the seat, and the adaptability of the car seat itself as baby grows. The isofix base was so incredibly easy to fit into the car and it will save so much hassle to just be able to click the car seat in and go rather than having to loop a seat belt in each time – you can guarantee the time it doesn’t go smoothly will be during torrential rain! Baby isn’t here just yet so I haven’t tested it with an occupant but the system itself looks fantastic and I’m happy baby will be secure and comfortable.
