Created to work seamlessly with Joie’s Encore Spinning System, the seat offers smooth 360° rotation when paired with the compatible i-Base Encore (sold separately), making everyday journeys easier for parents and more comfortable for little passengers.

Suitable from approximately 6 months up to around 4 years of age, the i-Harbour E supports extended rearward-facing travel from 61–105 cm, allowing children to travel in the safest position for longer. When the time is right, the seat can also be used forward facing from 76–105 cm (minimum age 15 months), offering flexibility as children grow. Because the seat is tailored for the toddler years and does not include a newborn insert, it is designed specifically as the next step after an infant car seat.

Safety remains at the heart of the design. The Joie i-Harbour E meets the latest ECE R129/03 regulations and holds i-Size certification, ensuring compatibility with approved vehicles and meeting rigorous side impact testing requirements. Advanced protection is delivered through Joie’s Tri-Protect™ headrest, which combines three layers of impact protection including Intelli-Fit™ memory foam to help absorb crash forces. Guard Surround Safety™ pods further enhance side impact protection, offering additional reassurance during every journey.

Comfort has also been carefully considered. A five-position recline allows children to rest or sit comfortably whether travelling rearward or forward facing, helping to support relaxed journeys and naps on the go. The padded five-point harness keeps children secure while maintaining a soft, comfortable fit, and the inclusion of an additional set of mesh seat fabrics improves airflow and ventilation during warmer journeys.

Designed for everyday convenience, the seat pairs with the i-Base Encore to create a fully rotating car seat system. The 360° swivel function makes lifting children in and out of the vehicle much easier, while also allowing smooth transitions between rearward and forward-facing positions. The Simple Swivel™ activator is positioned within easy reach so the seat can be rotated effortlessly with one hand.

As children grow, the Grow Together™ headrest and harness system adjusts simultaneously through six positions without the need to rethread the harness. This simple adjustment ensures the seat continues to fit correctly as your child develops. Securing your child is equally straightforward thanks to the one-pull harness tightening system, which helps achieve a snug and secure fit every time.
