Care and Safety

Stop using the crib as soon as your baby can sit, kneel or pull themselves up. Only use the mattress supplied, which must be no thicker than 50mm, and always fit the liner. The liner can be washed at 30 degrees on a synthetics cycle and dried flat. Wipe the frame with a soft damp cloth and keep the crib away from radiators, fires and other heat sources.

A Handwoven Rattan Crib for Your Baby's First Months

A cosy newborn crib supplied with its own foam mattress and bamboo crib liner.

Ready for Your Newborn

The crib comes complete with a 4cm foam mattress and a fitted liner, so there is nothing extra to buy before your baby arrives. It is suitable from birth until around 6 months.

Soft Bamboo Fibre Fabrics

Both the mattress and the liner use a quilted bamboo fibre fabric with anti-microbial properties. It helps promote airflow around your baby, and the liner is washable at 30 degrees.

Woven by Hand From Rattan

Each crib is handmade from natural rattan over a plywood structure, then finished with a clear lacquer. At just 5.5kg it is light enough to move easily from room to room.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age is the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan suitable for?

The CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan is designed for newborns and is suitable from birth until around 6 months. Stop using it as soon as your baby can sit up, kneel or pull themselves up without help, whichever happens first. At that point it is time to move your little one into a full-size cot or cot bed.

Does the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan come with a mattress?

Yes. The CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan is supplied with a foam mattress measuring L75 x W40 x H4cm, finished in a quilted bamboo fibre fabric. It also comes with a matching crib liner. Only use the mattress supplied with the crib, as the maximum mattress thickness for this crib is 50mm.

Do I need to use the liner with the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan?

Yes. The liner supplied with the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan is part of the crib and must always be fitted when your baby is sleeping in it. It is made from the same quilted bamboo fibre fabric as the mattress. To clean it, wash at 30 degrees on a synthetics cycle and dry flat.

What size is the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan?

The CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan measures L92 x W55 x H73cm and weighs 5.5kg, so it is compact enough for a bedroom and light enough to move between rooms. The included mattress measures L75 x W40 x H4cm. As each crib is made by hand from natural rattan, measurements may vary slightly.

What safety standard does the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan meet?

The CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan is tested to BS EN 1130:2019, the safety standard for cribs and cradles for domestic use. Always check the fittings regularly, never use the crib if any part is broken or missing, and keep it away from radiators, open fires and other strong sources of heat.

What is the CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan made from?

The CuddleCo Aria Crib - Rattan is made from 70% rattan and 27% plywood, with fixings and glue making up the remaining 3%. It has a clear lacquer finish that lets the natural weave show through. Rattan naturally varies in shade and gradually darkens with time, particularly when exposed to sunlight.
