Created to offer additional protection, stability and comfort during those earliest journeys home and beyond, it provides a tailored fit for babies measuring approximately 40–60 cm in height.

Thoughtfully engineered to create a cosy, protective environment, the inlay delivers enhanced support for both the head and body. Its carefully shaped design promotes a neutral neck position, helping to ensure open airways by maintaining safe space between the chin and chest. This positioning is especially important for premature babies, whose muscle control is still developing.

An additional removable wedge gently lifts the baby into an improved belt position, helping the harness sit correctly and securely. As the baby grows, this wedge can be removed to adapt the fit, allowing the inlay to evolve alongside your child during those crucial first weeks.

Safety sits at the heart of its development. The inlay has been crash-tested together with the BeSafe Go Beyond in accordance with UN R129 regulations. It has also been developed in collaboration with a neonatal nurse and fit-tested with premature babies, ensuring it meets the real-world needs of the smallest passengers.

Crafted using BeSafe’s premium SoftBreeze fabric, the inlay combines exceptional softness with enhanced breathability. The outer fabric contains recycled polyester blended with elastane for flexibility and comfort, while the plush internal materials provide gentle cushioning against delicate skin. All fabrics comply with strict REACH standards for added reassurance.

For optimal use, it is strongly recommended that the car seat is positioned in its lay-flat or most reclined setting when using the inlay, ensuring the safest and most supportive posture for newborns.
