BeSafe Go Beyond 2 Infant Car Seat - Dark Grey Melange

The BeSafe Go Beyond², Dark Grey Melange is an advanced infant car seat designed to deliver exceptional safety, comfort and flexibility from birth up to approximately 18 months. As part of the BeSafe Beyond modular system, it combines innovative lay-flat technology, convenient rotation and premium design to support both everyday journeys and longer travels.

This product is sold without the Beyond base, and is available separately.

Approved for use from 40 to 87 cm and up to 13 kg, the Go Beyond² allows babies to travel safely in a rear-facing position while benefiting from a unique lie-flat function that supports healthy sleep and development.

Unique Active Lay Flat™ Technology

At the heart of the BeSafe Go Beyond² is its revolutionary Active Lay Flat™ feature. This allows babies to lie flat while driving, creating a safer and more comfortable sleeping position than traditional infant seats. In the event of a collision, the seat automatically moves to a more upright position to ensure optimal protection. This combination of safe sleep and advanced crash safety is unique on the market.

The harness tension remains consistent when changing between positions, ensuring correct restraint at all times without the need for readjustment.

State-of-the-Art Safety

Safety is central to the design of the Go Beyond². The seat is equipped with a five-point internal harness, offering increased stability, particularly in side-impact situations. Advanced head protection is provided through the Dynamic Force Absorber™, while an attachable SIP+ side impact protection unit adds an extra layer of safety on the door-side of the vehicle.

Cushion inserts support smaller babies from birth, helping ensure a secure and comfortable fit from the very first journey. The seat is fully approved to UN R129, including i-Size approval when used with the Beyond Base.

Easy Installation and Everyday Flexibility

The BeSafe Go Beyond² offers maximum flexibility for modern families. It can be installed using the Beyond Base with ISOFIX or directly with the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt, making it ideal for switching between cars.

When used with the Beyond Base, the seat features side-to-side rotation, allowing it to turn towards the car door for easier access when placing the baby in or lifting them out. One-hand operation makes daily use simple and intuitive.

The seat is also TÜV certified for aircraft use, allowing it to be installed with a 2-point belt on aeroplanes, making it suitable for travel from an early age.

Comfort for Baby, Convenience for Parents

Designed to grow with the baby, the Go Beyond² offers generous internal space and a 10-position adjustable headrest, accommodating growth up to 87 cm. Good airflow is maintained through an open structure beneath the textile cover, helping regulate temperature on warmer days.

A low-reaching, adjustable peekaboo sun canopy protects against sun and weather while allowing parents to check on their baby without disturbing their sleep. Magnets on the side of the seat keep the harness out of the way when placing the baby in the seat, simplifying everyday use.

The ergonomically designed carry handle can be operated with one hand and also acts as an additional safety feature in a collision, helping protect the baby from contact with the vehicle interior.

Travel System and Premium Design

The BeSafe Go Beyond² is compatible with most leading stroller frames, allowing it to be used as part of a travel system. This makes it easy to move a sleeping baby from car to pushchair without disruption.

With its refined matte finish and dark framing edge, the seat is designed to blend seamlessly with darker stroller frames, offering a premium and cohesive look.

Sustainable, Modular Beyond System

As part of the BeSafe Beyond concept, the Go Beyond² is designed with sustainability and longevity in mind. Durable materials and a repair-friendly construction extend the lifespan of Beyond products to up to 15 years. One base can be used from birth through to approximately 6 years when paired with the compatible toddler seat, reducing material usage and waste over time.

Care Instructions

Textile covers should be washed at 30°C on a fine or very mild cycle. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Dry flat. Always follow the care label located on the reverse of the textile cover.
