The BeSafe Flex FIX 2 High Back Booster, Anthracite Mesh is a forward-facing high-back booster seat developed as an upgrade to BeSafe’s award-winning iZi Flex FIX i-Size.

Suitable for children approximately 4 to 12 years old, the Flex FIX 2 is approved for use from 100–150 cm in height. While the age range provides a helpful guide, correct fit based on height and belt positioning should always take priority. The seat is approved to the latest UN R129 regulation, including i-Size approval from 100–135 cm and specific vehicle approval from 135–150 cm.

Safety is central to the Flex FIX 2’s design. The innovative headrest uses BeSafe’s Dynamic Force Absorber™ technology, creating a trampoline-like effect that helps manage forces in a collision. The headrest also incorporates EPP for superior energy absorption, while flexible side impact protection and the additional SIP+ (Side Impact Protection+) enhance protection from side collisions. PAD+ adds soft, cushioned protection for the chin and chest, reducing discomfort from the seat belt while providing extra safety where it matters most.

Correct belt positioning is key for older children, and the Flex FIX 2 excels here. The lap belt guide is inspired by BeSafe’s proven pregnancy belt technology, helping prevent the child from sliding forward or under the belt and ensuring the lap belt stays securely positioned over the hip bones. A precise shoulder belt guide further supports correct routing, and the detachable lap belt guide can be removed for easy cleaning when needed.

One of the standout advantages of the Flex FIX 2 is its slim profile. By removing the SIP brackets on the middle seat, parents can fit up to three car seats side-by-side — ideal for larger families or vehicles with limited rear-seat space. Despite its narrow design, the seat still offers plenty of room for the child, ensuring comfort isn’t compromised.

Comfort is carefully considered throughout. The seat features two recline positions, helping to keep the child’s head and torso well supported, particularly when they fall asleep. The headrest offers excellent side support and visibility, and can be adjusted through 14 positions as the child grows. Height adjustment can be made from the sides of the seat even while the child is buckled in, making everyday use easier for parents. PAD+ also adds softness against the seat belt for longer journeys.

Installation is flexible and straightforward. The Flex FIX 2 can be installed using ISOfix connectors for added stability, or with the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt alone, making it compatible with a wide range of vehicles. An integrated carry handle makes it easier to move between cars when needed.

Finished in a durable black woven fabric, the seat is designed for everyday practicality. The fully removable cover can be washed at 30°C on a delicate or wool cycle and dried flat, helping keep the seat fresh over years of use. High-quality materials, including polyester fabrics and polyurethane foam filling, support long-term durability.
