Everyday usability has been carefully considered. Once installed, the Belt Guard can remain permanently attached to the shoulder pads, making daily buckling quick and straightforward. Its patented design allows the guard to be opened and closed in a single, simple action, ensuring that parents can remove their child quickly if needed. An adult can also open the Belt Guard while the harness is still fastened by briefly reducing tension on the shoulder straps, allowing the guard to release smoothly.

Attachment is simple and secure. Compatible BeSafe toddler seats feature Velcro beneath the shoulder pads, where each part of the Belt Guard slots neatly into place. Correct alignment ensures the guard sits flush at the base of the shoulder pads, and once fitted, the Velcro is closed firmly to keep everything securely in position. Importantly, the BeSafe Belt Guard is only designed for use with BeSafe toddler car seats and should not be used with car seats from other brands.

For ongoing care, the Belt Guard is easy to maintain and can be wiped clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent, keeping it hygienic for everyday use.
