Swedish Plus Test Approved Safety

Safety remains at the heart of the Minikid Core. It is approved to the Swedish Plus Test and certified to UN R129, meeting some of the most demanding safety standards in Europe. The rear-facing design significantly reduces forces on a child’s neck and spine in the event of a frontal collision.

A carefully engineered combination of support leg, adjustable anti-rebound bar and integrated side-impact protection works together to create a stable and protective travel environment. The anti-rebound bar offers three settings and can be extended to provide additional legroom as children grow, enhancing both comfort and longevity.

The seat has also been over-tested using a two-point vehicle belt and approved to the Swedish Plus Test up to 125cm, demonstrating its strength and durability under strict testing conditions.

The integrated SafeLock™ system keeps the vehicle belt firmly in place, helping achieve a dependable fit in just minutes. This makes the Minikid Core an ideal solution for vehicles without ISOFIX, whilst remaining perfectly compatible in cars that do have ISOFIX, as installation is completed using the vehicle seatbelt.
