The CabrioFix can be installed using the car’s seat belt but is recommended for use with the Maxi-Cosi EasyFix or FamilyFix base offering a secure and rigid connection to the vehicle seat and hassle free click-and-go installation. No matter your choice, the CabrioFix is a popular option for safety and comfort thanks to the Side Protection System and padded head support - and Maxi-Cosi's longstanding reputation in the car seat world. Compatible with all Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs, as well as many other brands, the CabrioFix can be easily clicked onto a pushchair to create a flexible travel system.

The current safety guidelines advise that newborn babies are not left in their car seat for longer than 30 minutes. For babies 2-6 months, no longer than 2 hours. It is also safer to keep your child rear-facing for as long as possible -  a minimum of 15 months but ideally 4 years. A child should never be in their harnessed car seat with a thick winter coat or snowsuit on.
