Quinny Buzz Parent Review

Quick Summary: I love this pram and think I have found a winner. I have usually changed my pram by now, but this time I feel very happy with it and don't think I'll change. I found it so handy having the carrycot at first as I had a premature baby and she didn't fit into the seat unit for a while. The car seat attaching onto the frame has been a life saver at times, so much lighter than the travel systems where the car seat clips on top of the pram. It feels like your pushing nothing, it's that light.

I have 3 children; Oliver, 5 (the shy quiet one out the 3), Michael i.e Mikey (the loud one, the kind of child you hear before you see) and my little princess Rosie, 7 months, she is very much a mini-me.

I use my pushchair everyday without fail. I use it to walk my son to school and walking to the shops. I use my double if I have my 2 year old with me but if it's his pre-school day then my single it is.

When buying a pushchair I always get an idea of look and style in my head, and then I start to read a few reviews. Price and value-for-money are both key factors in my choice. I like something that is hard wearing and that I know will last. I don't tend to buy a pushchair unless I know the brand and that they are good. I'd never buy one without reading reviews first.

I bought my Quinny Buzz in Roller Pink from Next in October 2010, I paid £350 for it and it's worth every penny. It was an exclusive colour to Next and Mothercare. I get a lot of comments on the color, this was the reason why I went for the Quinny Buzz as loved the Roller Pink.

The pushchair can be used in many different ways; I first used mine with a carrycot. The carrycot is suitable from birth, lies flat and comes with a rain cover and net. It fits onto the frame easily with adaptors (they come with the pushchair). Also, for those little trips to the shops, the car seat fits onto the frame with the same adaptors used for the carrycot.

The seat unit can face both ways and the foot can move up and down depending on what position your child prefers. You get two seat units; one from birth that is more padded and suits a baby and the other from 12 months up until your child has outgrown their pushchair.

The Buzz has positive and negative elements. I love the way the frame comes up on its own and the way it has many different items you can use for it. But I find it very hard to try getting the seat unit, car seat or carrycot on with one hand. The handle bar adjusts in height so this is a very big positive. But when the seat unit faces the parent it doesn't really sit up very high, so my little girl doesn't really like facing me as she likes to be sat upright.

The only thing I would really improve is the way it folds down, I find this very tricky and my husband still can't get the hang of it. But the way it comes up on its own should never change.

My little girl loves being in her pram, she finds it very comfy and loves being nosey when she faces out (must take after her mum)

I've already got two of my friends hooked on the Quinny Buzz and I'll be recommending it to all my family and friends who find themselves looking for prams.
