Quick Summary: Available from September 2016 for only £249, keep your eyes peeled for the Baby Jogger City Tour Stroller. Let us know what you think too - is this the perfect travel stroller?
With compact travel pushchairs increasing in popularity, Baby Jogger has joined in with their City Tour Stroller. Bound to be a hit with parents who travel frequently, it even comes with its own bag that features two backpack-style straps. The stroller is completely protected when in the bag, and feels as light as a feather on your back, weighing only 6.45kg.
Small enough to place in the overhead locker on a plane, and fitting anywhere on other public transport or in your car, the City Tour folds down simply in two steps but can be done one-handed. It measures only L56 x W45 x H25 cm when folded.
The City Tour is suitable from 6 months up to 15kg and though small, has lots of features to keep your little one comfortable when travelling. The seat is sumptuously padded, reclines for naps and is shaded by the infamous three-panel Baby Jogger hood to keep them out of the sun or wind. It's also a generous size to allow for taller tots. There are even features aplenty for the parent, with the texturised rubber handlebar making pushing a breeze and a decent-sized basket to carry your changing bag.
We were really impressed by the Baby Jogger City Tour and would definitely recommend it to those of you that need a compact stroller to take on holiday with you. As it folds down so small and can be stored in the carry bag, it will make travelling through the airport with your kids so much easier. Having it carried on board will also make sure that you don't have any damage issues once you arrive at your destination. Even though it's small and light, it's a pleasure to push and navigate through the crowds, whilst still having the sturdy qualities to carry your child that you would expect from Baby Jogger.
Whilst there, we were also privy to a demonstration on the rest of the Baby Jogger range, which includes pushchairs for all lifestyles. From a tandem to compact to off-roading. All of which include the philosophy of Baby Jogger, for parents to have fun while taking their children along with them.
