Keep your little one close and your hands free with a Cybex baby carrier. Both carriers in the range are part of the Cybex Gold line and are suitable from birth. They use self-adapting stretch fabric that adjusts to your baby as they grow.

The Cybex Amya grows with your child from day one until around 3 years old. Its stretch back panel supports your baby’s spine in its natural C-shape, and it offers four carrying positions with breathable 3D mesh fabric to keep you both comfortable.

The Cybex Laya is designed around bonding. Its kangaroo pocket lets you slip a hand inside to soothe your baby, and magnetic Click-&-Go buckles make it quick to put on and take off. It also comes with a detachable coin purse for essentials, and it’s machine washable at 30°C.

What age are Cybex baby carriers suitable for?

Both the Amya and the Laya are suitable from birth and carry babies from 3.2kg up to 15kg. The Laya can be used once your baby is at least 50cm tall and weighs 3.2kg. The Amya is designed to last until around 3 years old.

What’s the difference between the Cybex Amya and Laya?


Both use self-adapting fabric and support your baby ergonomically from birth. The Laya adds a kangaroo pocket for extra closeness, magnetic Click-&-Go buckles and a detachable coin purse. The Amya focuses on simple, comfortable carrying with breathable 3D mesh fabric.

How many carrying positions do Cybex carriers have?


Both carriers offer four carrying positions. On the Laya, these are a newborn position, front inward-facing, front outward-facing and back carry, so you can adapt as your baby develops.

When can my baby face outwards in a Cybex carrier?


The Laya’s front outward-facing position can be used once your baby has developed enough head and neck control. Until then, carry your baby facing inwards towards you.

Are Cybex baby carriers ergonomic?


Yes. The stretch back panel supports your baby’s spine in its natural, curved C-shape, and the Laya holds your baby’s hips in a healthy M-position. Both are designed to spread the weight comfortably for you too.

Can I wash my Cybex baby carrier?


The Laya is machine washable at 30°C. For the Amya, check the care label on your carrier before washing.
