Recharging is only via the original Peg Perego battery charger connected to a simple domestic socket. You can charge the batteries whilst they are in the toy or by extracting them. It is recommended that they are charged at least every 6 weeks, even while not in regular use, to keep the cells alive. Some models have transport handles to make extraction and transport easier.
