The Maxi-Cosi Emerald is a multi-stage seat that offers the latest and highest i-Size safety standards from birth up to 7 years old, giving you longevity and peace of mind. Your newborn will be snug and comfortable at the optimum angle in the inlay, which can then be removed as they grow. The Emerald allows for rear-facing travel up to 105cm tall or around 4 years old, which means your little one – even when they’re not so little any more – will be in the safest possible position for better head and neck protection should the unthinkable happen. The seat also contains superior G-Cell side-impact protection technology for the shoulder area.

The Emerald has ISOFIX anchorages and a support leg that provide the safest, easiest and quickest way to install it up to 4 years old. When your child is older, the seat becomes a high-back booster that you secure using belt installation until 7 years of age. The safety harness and headrest height are easily adjusted for the right fit at every age, and the harness can be neatly stowed away in the sides of the seat once you’re ready to use the vehicle seatbelt instead.
