Axkid Minikid 3 is a revolutionary update from the bestselling and award-winning Minikid 2 that allows real extended rear-facing up to around 7 years old. With improved safety, functionality and comfort your child will have the highest protection all the way up to 125cm (and a maximum weight of 36kg).

Secure and spacious with extensive smart features, the Minikid 3 is designed with a Swedish safety mindset in its DNA and is not only approved to the latest R129 standard but has also passed the world’s toughest crash test – the Swedish Plus Test.

Rear-facing car seats are proven to be up to five times safer than forward facing. The back length on the Minikid 3 has been increased by an impressive 10cm, giving your child plenty of growing room in the safest possible position to travel.   

The clever, more slimline design of the Minikid 3 doesn't compromise on room for your child and offers generous legroom yet the flexibility to install in even in the smallest of cars. Depending on your installation possibilities, this seat can allow your child up to 30cm extra leg space.

The Minikid 3 can be installed in any position in the car and isn't dependent on ISOFIX connectors. The new, more compact shell width makes it possible to install three in a row in the back or also have one on the front seat, giving you flexibility for your family's needs.

More than 60% of all car seats are to some extent installed incorrectly and the risk to safety is high. The Minikid 3 has a simplified installation and a visual guide hidden within the seat, as well as a QR code to scan for full video instructions. Just one belt clam and automatic lower tethers make for a quick and safe installation in approximately 60 seconds. 

The innovative Axkid Side Impact Protection (ASIP) is developed with the most prestigious crash institute in the world - ADAC in Germany. Upon a side collision, ASIP is built to deform and absorb the crash energy before it reaches your child.

The dynamic headrest technology gives you peace of mind regarding your little one’s positioning and safety as the headrest automatically adjusts according to their length and size. If you prefer the headrest to have a fixed position, there are 14 to choose from for the optimum fit. 

The headrest design is also updated into a deeper V-shape and developed with a force-absorbing technology to give your child the best protection in the event of a collision. This design also makes it easy for your child to see out of the window.

The updated seat provides a more comfortable and ergonomic sitting and sleeping position. The Sleep Well System with its multi-reclining leg in the front supports you to use different positions for a secure recline for your child, depending on age, length and backseat angle.

The toddler support cushion will give even the smallest children a comfortable and safe position in the Minikid 3. The new design of the cushion comes in a comfortable memory foam as well as mesh fabric in the back for air circulation. The extra insert is recommended to use when your little one is between 61-105cm tall.

The Axkid Minikid 3 comes in a choice of four core colours and two Premium options. The covers are removable and machine-washable at 30 degrees. The Minikid 3 Premium offers a higher comfort due to the extra padding in the seat cover and also comes with a colour-matched headrest, branded premium zippers and meshed back cover on the seat.
