We have asked Mummy Chloe to take the Cosatto Wish for a spin with her little boy Charlie!
Pushchair Expert have kindly sent me the Cosatto Wish 2-in-1 Travel System to use and review. I was using a stroller for my son Charlie, 3 and was excited to go back to a larger travel system. We have been using it for about 6 weeks now and I am very impressed!
When the travel system arrived, I was shocked at the size of the box. I was expecting 2 boxes with several pieces and complicated instructions. Our previous pushchairs have been assembled by my husband. This was super easy to put together! The chassis unfolded, the wheels clicked into place and the seat unit transfers from a carrycot to a seat for when baby is older. I thought that was a fantastic feature and saves on storage space (which we are lacking in!).
The travel system is very light, easy to manoeuvre, and the swivel wheels on the front are smaller than the back wheels giving it a good balance and distributing the weight evenly.
On first impressions, I thought the basket was amazing. It has large, deep sides and also a separate zipped compartment.
It comes with lots of accessories, a raincover, chest pad crotch pads, a reversible liner/footmuff, head support, car seat adaptors and a change bag with a waterproof zipped pouch and a waterproof change mat.
I love the design of the travel system, the stars feature everywhere; inside the change bag, on the chassis, on the footmuff, even on the raincover. The design is so lovely, crisp and bright. The red and blue contrast beautifully.
The brake is near the right back wheel, easy to pop on with your foot. What I liked about the brake was when it is not in use there's a green dot showing and when the brake is applied the dot turns red.
Our first outing was to the park.
Charlie seemed very snug in the seat unit, he is quite tall and his head was right near the top. He didn't seem to mind though and was excited to use his "star buggy". I would have liked the seat unit to be a little bit longer to accommodate for taller children.
Charlie still naps occasionally on long walks so I was very happy with the reclining positions of the seat unit. He had a good hour nap in the pushchair. It was easy to recline once he had fallen asleep using the two buttons on either side of the seat.
The hood was fantastic in the sunny weather to protect Charlie from the sun. It has a large hood with an extending sun visor. I felt comfortable that he was protected whilst napping.
I think if this pushchair could be improved would be to make the seat unit longer and also to have some sort of rubber protector on the fabric by the feet as I was conscious about Charlie's shoes touching it.
We also took the travel system away with us to Dorset. We traveled on the London Underground and the overground. My husband and I were able to lift it between us down the stairs in the station and we felt it was secure on the tube once the brake was applied.
It was a fantastic pushchair to take away with us as the basket is so large. We could fit buckets, spades, towels etc all in the basket which is fantastic when you have three children handing you things to carry for them!
We even got in a London Black Taxi and we didn't even need to collapse the pushchair. We just wheeled Charlie straight on and he seemed quite pleased with himself!
I rate the Cosatto Wish 2-in-1 Travel System 4.5 stars out of 5
