The Mima Xari has arrived!!! Excited...much?!
Doesn't take me long to open the two boxes, one for the main pram and the other for the comfort pack.
Putting it together is effortless, so much so that it's put together in minutes, I barely had to glance at the instructions as it's that simple!!
From carrycot to seat unit takes only a couple of minutes and again, it's simple; it uses a concept that I've never seen before, the carrycot is concealed inside the seat. No need to wonder where to put the carrycot once baby is in the seat unit, although it does make the seat unit slightly heavier to carry.
It's a very modern and contemporary pushchair that oozes luxury, in-fact there's only one word to describe it.. stunning!!
I love the attention to detail on Mima Xari; the chrome on the chassis, the big chunky wheels, the adjustable seat height and not one but two storage pods!
I love the colourway, the grey with the red comfort pack, such a stunning combination! The seat pad looks very comfortable indeed, the only thing I'm not keen on is the shoulder pads, they seem a bit over padded and being circular just makes it worse, they would be alot better if they were rectangular!
The hood is just something else, it's one of the features that make the Mima Xari really stand out and I guess you will love or hate it..personally I love it!
All the features are very easy to work out from the 3 position seat recline to the adjustable seat height and the simple on and off brake.
Another thing I love about the Mima Xari is the fold. Just remove the carrycot or seat, press the safety catch on the left hand side of the chasis and pull both clips towards you and lower to the floor and by pulling the handle in the middle of the two storage pods - the chassis is folded. However, one thing I notice is there's no clip to keep it closed.
The suspension is fabulous, the Mima Xari just glides around my living room, can't wait to try it out with Max in town!!
