We were big fans of the Fox so when the Fox² came along we were puzzled as to how great the improvements would be. But after just a few weeks of daily use, we realised that the improvements were subtle but oh so significant to the performance of this fabulous all-terrain set of wheels.
The chassis of the Fox² is sleek and streamlined, it has been made lighter than the previous model whilst still retaining those fabulous go anywhere wheels. Our first trip with the Fox² accidentally took us down a rocky park path and it didn't disappoint! Baby was always comfortable in the extra deep carrycot or seat unit and never noticed the bumps of pavements or rougher park paths.
We love the fact that parents get both the carrycot and seat fabrics in one box and it is as simple as clipping them on and off one frame depending upon the age of your child. The same hood is used on the carrycot and seat unit and when we say it provides great coverage, boy do we mean it! The hood zips open to extend down to the bumper bar and now features great viewing windows for parents and children to look through whilst on the move.
There are small details in the carrycot and seat unit which are really handy when you're on the go. The carrycot has some really useful pockets at the bottom which we found great for popping letters in on the way to the post office and small items such as keys and a phone. The seat is deep and the harness and bumper bar are really user friendly. The bumper bar opens with a new button on the inside and pivots to make getting baby in and out of the seat easy and seamless. The harness is really simple to adjust and the buckle is a breeze to fasten and unfasten to.
There aren't many cons at all for us to point out with the Fox². It might be worth noting that the fold is a two handed affair but still it is smooth and easy to operate so we can't see this being an issue.
You won't be disappointed with the extra smooth push of the Fox² and baby won't be disappointed with the smooth ride either. The chunky wheels and robust but softer than soft suspension mean that the Fox² is always ready to stroll wherever you want it to take you.
The new and improved fold is smooth to operate and really makes life easier and hassle free for busy parents who have children to juggle and places to be! The extra large hood extends to provide a safe and shaded environment for your passenger and the new addition of the viewing windows in the hoods are really handy to check in on baby as well as providing super ventilation into babies carrycot or seat unit.
Overall the Fox² is a great quality, solid but light all-terrain pushchair. If you are looking for the epitome of comfort and quality all rolled into one then you need look no further than the Fox².
We give the Bugaboo Fox² 5 out of 5 stars
