Plenty of us use public transport every day with our prams and pushchairs but none of us expect the drama that this East London mum found herself involved in.
Buses can be busy places at the best of times and Transport for London has its own specific guidelines regarding travelling with your pushchair on a bus. If there's no space then you can be asked to fold your pushchair to store it safely or in extreme cases you could possibly be asked to wait for the next bus.
It all sounds pretty simple on paper, even if a little inconvenient, but when one mum boarded the number 86 in Romford earlier this week she was met by two other ladies with pushchairs already in the pushchair bay.
Shocked passengers looked on as the three women were unable to come to an agreement about whose pushchair should be parked where. The pushchair palava quickly spiralled out of control resulting in the most recent woman to board being slapped around the face as well as other onlookers being shouted at in an aggressive manner too.
The poor mum was left with a cut lip and an understandably upset 5 year old son, whilst the offending pushchair owners quickly hot footed it off the bus.
Police are asking the people of Romford to keep their eyes peeled for a tall, slim black woman pushing a grey pram - seasoned pramaholics they will recognise it as a Mothercare Expedior!
This isn't the first time we have heard of pushchair problems when it comes to using public transport.Do you catch the bus with your pushchair? Have you ever experienced any unexpected hiccups whilst boarding the bus with your buggy? Let us know.
