I'm Keelie, a busy part time working mum of Eva who is 3 and a half and Luna who is 1 and a half.
I've been using the Noa changing bag by Storksak for a few weeks now and was initially impressed by the general appearance of the bag. It doesn't look like a traditional changing bag and could easily pass as a handbag.
The leather is beautifully soft and supple and the wipe clean lining looks and feels luxurious. It would easily look at home in any high end handbag retail store.
The over the shoulder handles have an anti slip webbing on the back and there is a detachable long strap which has integrated stroller straps. I found these really handy for busy days out and shopping trips as I could be hands free to see to my girls, safe in the knowledge that my bag was attached securely to my stroller. This also meant that my bag was easily accessible when I needed it as it was not stuffed in the stroller basket underneath all the other bits and bobs my girls insist on taking out!
On the outside of the bag there is a handy little pocket which is great for keeping small items which can be accessed quickly - perfect for my lip balm and tissues in the chilly weather. There is also an insulated pocket on the side which is the perfect size for a couple of bottles. I've been using this to keep the girls drinks and snacks cool in. As it's on the outside it can be accessed quickly.
However, the Noa by Storksak is more than just a pretty bag. The absolute best feature of this changing bag is the interior mini organiser. This spacious bag within a bag has enough room for nappies, wipes, snacks, bibs, medicine, toys, spare clothes....and more. The organiser fits perfectly inside the changing bag - with room to spare! It can be easily taken out of the main bag using the top grab handles so that trips to the changing rooms don't mean that you have to take the whole changing bag with you - just the bits you need contained within the organiser. There are five outer pockets for easy access and a large zipped main compartment to keep everything secure and contained. The fabric is water resistant and wipe clean too. Also included is a foldable, water resistant, padded changing mat which fits perfectly inside the pockets of the organiser and is ideal to provide comfort on cold plastic changing tables.
Day to day I have been using this bag for both work and trips out with my girls. The handy organiser can be popped in an out of the main bag which makes the transition between work bag and mum bag quick and easy. No more kids toys, nappies or half eaten bits of food lurking at the bottom of my bag!
The only issue I really found is that when we are out and about I tend to open the bag and shove bits in willy nilly if I'm in a rush. Whilst it is capable of containing all sorts of bits and bobs it does make it a bit awkward when I come to accessing or taking out the organiser as everything is piled on top or wedged down the sides. This is more an issue with me being unorganised rather than a fault with the design of the bag though.
In conclusion, I really love this bag. I have been complimented so many times whilst I've been out. It's also the perfect size to contain everything. I have friends who take out kids rucksacks with snacks and changes of clothes , changing bags for nappies etc and handbags for everything else. Not for me though! One bag does it all.
It's a little on the expensive side but it's well worth the money purely as it's 'not just a changing bag'. We wouldn't be without it now.
