Celebrity designs for pushchair brands are nothing new, but Cosatto's collaboration with Paloma Faith immediately sounded like a match made in multicoloured heaven. Both are bold, quirky, vibrant and unashamedly 'Marmite' - love 'em or hate 'em, they certainly make a statement about individuality and being happy to be different.
And that's exactly what the singer says she wants to achieve with her pushchair designs - prams and strollers that allow parents to express who they really are. Mum to a 2-year-old herself, she says: "When I was a new mother I felt like none of the designs out there really suited my personality. They all made me feel like I had to become someone else to be a good mother. I wanted to design something that allowed me to celebrate who I am while also stimulating my child and showing them that it's ok to stand out from the crowd and have a joie de vivre about all things."
The result is the inaugural design of the new Cosatto Giggle 3, Hear Us Roar, and the limited edition Anarchy in the Nursery version of the Wow, with a stroller to follow.
Hear Us Roar is full-on leopard print with a stylised hot red liner and gleaming gold details on the black chassis. It will retail at £599.95 for the pushchair and carrycot, with a matching Port infant carrier available to keep the effect going across your whole travel system (adaptors needed). Also in the collection are a co-ordinating footmuff and eccentrically different hat box-style changing bag.
Anarchy in the Nursery is an extremely limited run of just 100 worldwide so you really will be walking your own path (or making your own kind of music!) - for £999.95. This luxe model of the Wow pram and pushchair features an eclectic mix of far eastern-inspired colours and patterns with over a million stitches in its embroidered fabrics. Oh, and a gold chassis. Again, accessories will be available separately, including an original Utility Bum Bag, which can take your iPad as well as changing gear and bottles!
