Road Safety Week is the UK's biggest road safety event, co-ordinated annually it involves thousands of schools, organisations and communities each year.
charity, Brake founded Road Safety Week in 1997 as an annual event to
raise awareness about road safety and promote steps that everyone can take
to stop needless deaths and injuries year-round.
This year, Brake are encouraging everyone to consider how they use roads and if they can ditch some driving, and instead walk, cycle or use public transport - save money, burn calories, and cause less pollution. If you are driving, they ask that you drive slowly and smoothly, and GO 20 in towns and villages, to protect people on foot and bike and reduce fuel use.
We at Pushchair Expert want to use Road Safety Week to raise awareness around the issues of car seats. From the latest technology, understanding Extended Rearward Facing (ERF) and showing you the importance of fitting a harness correctly. It can sometimes be confusing with all of the technical jargon, so let us help you make sense of it all and ensure your child travels safely.
What questions do you have about car seats? What would you like to be made clearer? Let us know and we will get the answers for you.
