A short time ago we spoke about Bugaboo's branching out into a whole new market. Speculation ran high as the launch of the eagerly awaited new products loomed and there was talk of the hip pushchair brand launching a car seat or even a range of nursery furniture. But the world was stunned when Bugaboo unveiled their brand new range of... LUGGAGE! In the form of the Bugaboo Boxer.
For the past 20 years, Bugaboo have flooded the premium pushchair market and the brand has been championed by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Elton John, Geri Horner and even by royalty in the hands of Kate Middleton.
Some of you may be a little shocked at the decision of a major pushchair brand to branch out into luggage but actually it makes perfect sense - their company has always focused on exceptional mobility and going from A to B that little bit more fun - the Boxer luggage range aims to offer just that, exactly as the Bugaboo pushchair range does too.
The Bugaboo Boxer is a clever modular luggage system that you push (there's the pushchair link right there!) rather than pull. It comprises of a core (and all-important) chassis, travel case, cabin case and laptop case. As with all things Bugaboo, its superbly stylish and effortlessly functional and as a matter of fact the chassis of the Boxer is essentially a pushchair for your luggage!
We've seen the Bugaboo Boxer being used by TheBabyGuyNYC and it looks like a seriously nifty piece of kit. Just as a highly lust after Bugaboo pushchair is a superior way of transporting your baby, the Boxer is a superior way of transporting your luggage!
But the question is...will other pushchair brands be following suit?
