Alesha Dixon has recently been snapped pushing her baby daughter Azura in a bright pink Stokke Xplory travel system.
The Stokke Xplory sells for around £659 for the pushchair, or £829 with the carrycot. You can also choose the Stokke infant carrier for £250 to make a full travel system. An expensive choice, but a popular one with celebrities.
Celebrity culture seems to have really influenced the way we shop lately, be that for clothes and shoes, or pushchairs and baby carriers. If we see our favourite celebrity pushing a top of the range, designer pushchair then we want to be seen pushing the same brand, the same colour, the same style.
But could this be damaging? Are we stretching our finances too far to try and keep up with the rich and famous? Does it matter if our baby is being transported in a Stokke Xplory or a cheaper alternative? Does our little one really mind – or is it all about the way we are perceived by others?
We would love to know your thoughts and experiences. Have you ever bought a baby or child item because you have seen someone famous with one? Would you still go out and do a lot of research, or would you assume that because a celebrity has one it must be good quality, safe and secure?
