Here at Pushchair Expert we receive frequent requests for advice on compact pushchairs or strollers that have a parent-facing option and, even better, can lie flat and fold with the seat unit this way round - so we're expecting a lot of interest in the new Cybex Eezy S Twist.
There was a real buzz around this unique design when it was displayed at the landmark Kind + Jugend nursery trade show last year. It's essentially the lightweight, compact Eezy S stroller with a from-birth solution and - here's the exciting bit - the added wow-factor of a rotating seat mechanism. So no more releasing, lifting, turning and reattaching the seat unit - in a smooth one-handed push-button motion, the pushchair goes from world to parent-facing and back.
It had its official launch event in London in June - hitting the market this month in time for the majority of family holidays this summer. Weighing 7kg with a narrow 45cm footprint and folded dimensions of just 26x45x56cm (small enough to be accepted as hand luggage on most airlines), the Eezy S Twist ticks all the main criteria on the travel wishlist - with the huge bonus, relatively rare in a stroller, of the parent-facing option and a full lie-flat recline position that makes it suitable from birth.
All the features that make the Cybex Eezy S Twist look like a great holiday choice are equally valuable for city living and nipping round town by public transport. Adding to the surprises in what is at first glance a fairly understated pushchair, it becomes a 3-in-1 travel system when paired with the Cocoon S and a Cybex or gb infant car seat.
Cybex is well known for luxury, eclectic fashion-inspired style - and innovation, and the brand's biggest launch of 2018 doesn't disappoint.
The Eezy S Twist has an RRP of £270. Look out for our full review coming soon.
