The Donkey is Bugaboo's first double pushchair and is certain to make an impact when it arrives on UK shores - although we have no dates as yet.
Bugaboo claim that 'The Bugaboo Donkey can easily – in three clicks – be converted from a full-sized mono to a full-sized side by side duo and back again to a mono'. Sounds excellent to us!
It looks like it has some very usable storage space, being a 'perfect stroller for kids and goods'. It should be at home gliding round the department stores between coffee stops!
Is this now the ultimate pushchair for a growing family or a real donkey?
We will let you know all the details when we get our hands on the Donkey at the Frankfurt Kind and Jungend Baby Show tomorrow.
Just thought we would add Bugaboo thoughts on the name and some initial release date information.
Why did bugaboo choose for the name bugaboo donkey?
All Bugaboo strollers are named after animals like the Bugaboo Bee and Bugaboo Cameleon. The characteristics of a donkey perfectly reflect Bugaboo’s new stroller as it’s well known for its ability to carry both luggage and people with ease. They are also known for being faithful, intelligent and eager to learn.
When will the bugaboo donkey be available at retail?
The Bugaboo Donkey will be available in spring 2011 in the Netherlands, the UK, USA and Spain.
