Britax Römer, the giants of child safety and mobility, has purchased the German/ Danish pushchair manufacturer Seed.
As of the first of this month, Britax Römer take cotrol of the whole Seed portfolio. Here in the UK, Seed may not be a name you are familiar with in the pushchair market but over in Germany they are a premium brand on par with the likes of Joolz and Bugaboo in the UK.
Seed is especially well-known for their beautiful, Danish-designed "Papilio" pushchair that can be folded down to a flat surface area small enough to fit into the boot of little cars such a Mini or Fiat 500.
Seed was originally launched in 2007 by a Danish film producer and Daddy to four child who was looking for a pushchair to meet those age-old parental requirements of being stylish whilst making sure not to compromise on quality and function.
The Seed Papilio will be integrated into Britax Römer's Premium Line of pushchairs.
And did you know, this isn't the first time Britax Römer have successfully acquired another brand. Back in 2013 they purchased the BRIO pushchair business too.
Are you a fan of Britax Römer pushchairs? What do you think to the Seed Papilo, will it be making it onto your wish list?
