Rear Facing Car Seats
Looking for help and advice? Try reading our guide on choosing your first car seat.
Rear-facing is fives times safer for your child, so it's important to keep them in this safer position for as long as possible. There are lots of car seats that can be used rear-facing up to 18kg, your average four year old, or even 25kg and 36kg which could be six or seven years old! The i-Size regulation states that they are kept rear-facing to a minimum of 15 months, and then can forward face if wish.
