Hi, my name is Pascale and I am the very lucky mummy of a beautiful, 9 month old baby girl called Briar. Briar and I live in Bathgate with her Daddy, Andrew. Briar was a very big surprise but you know what they say, all the best gifts are surprises! We try to keep active and love to go for long walks and to baby classes such as Baby Ballet and Baby Swim. We love spending time with friends and family and go to visit them whenever we can. We also just like to chill in the house with some cuddles and songs!
Hi everyone! Happy New Year! As a lovely start to the New Year our UPPAbaby Cruz arrived and I could not wait to get it opened! I had a good feeling about this buggy straight away as the box was so light. I carried it through with ease. Everything was packaged so nicely with lots of care and the instructions were the first thing you saw when you opened the box. The chassis with seat attached was one component and then it had 2 further boxes which contained the wheels and accessories. As you can see from my video it was incredibly easy to make up. I loved that everything made a satisfying "click" noise when in the correct place. The instructions were easy to read and allow you to enjoy the buggy quickly. The colour is just gorgeous and it's so light and easy to manoeuvre! First impressions are fantastic and I can't wait to take it out and about and see what Briar thinks!
Hi everyone! Today we took the Cruz out for our first walk!
Freezing cold so everyone wrapped up warm. I'd like to start by saying how lovely and slim this pushchair is. As you can see I have to push it past my car to get onto the pavement - this used to be so much hassle but this managed with ease!
It is so lightweight and easy to push, even made a 22 pound baby seem light! Briar is such a wriggle so I really appreciated the tight harness which comes over her arms and round her waist - the safety bar just gives that bit more security as well. I did have a bit of difficulty adjusting the straps and you seem to have to take the padding off in order to adjust them properly so not handy if you're going from somewhere where they need a pramsuit to just a top. It is incredibly easy to change from rearward to forward facing. We tried the rearward facing out so I could see how comfortable Briar looked. She was very comfortable and the seat sits nice and upright so she could see everything going on round about her. To recline the seat you just press a button at the back, just below the hood, and lower them. All together we had a great first outing and I even managed to stay upright when pushing up the very last hill!

Today we went to visit some close friends and took the Cruz in case we wanted to go for a walk. My boot was full of stuff from Christmas which hasn't made it into the house or other people's houses yet and really didn't want to empty it. Luckily, the Cruz is so slimline that it fit behind my chair - with the seat attached! Perfect for those with smaller boots and even those with pets who sit in the boot when travelling. I was very impressed!

Oh dear, I'm well and truly on the New Year = New Me bandwagon so took the Cruz out for a long walk. I can not stress how lightweight this buggy is! It is light and has great manoeuvrability. It was a bit windy so I had Briar facing me so she wouldn't get hit with the wind. Another great point about the Cruz is that universal foot muffs fit it so no need to buy different foot muffs for different buggies!

Off out for another walk today to try and get someone to have a nap! The height adjustable handle has 3 different heights which I find really handy considering the height difference between Andrew and I. Here Briar is resting in the third position, almost in full recline but just up slightly so she could see. She appeared to be very comfortable and cosy! As you can see I've got the rain cover and insect net in the pockets of the basket which save lots of space and leave you with plenty of room in the rest of the basket! I will send a picture of the basket full of shopping bags next week! You'll never guess how many you can fit!!! I will also post a video of how fast it is to get this buggy up and down! Have a great week!

Hi everyone! Today we went to the soft play as I had a day off work. It was very busy and there wasn't enough high chairs for all the babies to eat their lunch. As you can see I used the Cruz and it was ideal! She was at the perfect height for the table and I just pushed her in closer and took the safety bar off so she could eat nibbles from the table. I did some research and you can buy a food tray that attaches to the safety bar holes! Definitely something I would invest in for the future!

Hi everyone, Briar and I were down visiting my Mum this weekend in Dalbeattie. It was a lovely day down in Dumfries and Galloway so we decided to go for a walk along one of its many lovely beaches. As you can see the basket allowed us to take everything we might need - changing bag, extra hats, blankets, toys and (although not clear from the photos) it has 3 pockets built in which allows space for the rain cover, insect net and a reusable shopping bag!
Although the Cruz's wheels are small, it coped very well on uneven pavements/trails.
Briar was sitting upright allowing her to look out at all the beautiful views! Prior to this walk we went for lunch at a pub overlooking the water and the Cruz folded up very nicely next to the table - no need for walls as it sits upright when folded! Everyone commented on what a lovely bright buggy it is and how cosy she looked! We had a lovely day out!
Another day, another outing to try and get someone to sleep! I'm someone who likes to be prepared for anything and I don't always trust the weather reports! I hated having to think "do I / don't I?" take the raincover? It takes up so much space in the basket, but risks you having a wet little one if stuck in an unexpected shower. Luckily the UPPABaby Cruz has 3 large pockets in the back of the basket allowing space for the insect net, a shopping bag or toy and also... THE RAINCOVER!! So now it can sit in there and I don't have to worry :)
The raincover seems very small when first unwrapped but it covers the buggy tightly and securely. Simply slip it over the hood and then fasten with the Velcro attachments to the bar around the footrest! Finally! A dry baby and a happy Mummy :)!

How many Mum essentials can you fit in the UPPABaby Cruz basket? Decided to pop to Tesco for a couple of bits and pieces and obviously got a bit carried away! This basket is amazing, it's like Mary Poppin's bag!
In here we have; 2 x jumbo packs of nappies, 1 x box of wipes, 1 x blue milk, 1 x green milk, 1 x fabric softener, 1 x liquid fabric powder, bananas, raspberries and some cheese! This is the ideal buggy for parents who don't drive as it has so much storage. It does make the buggy more difficult to handle due to added weight, but it still manoeuvres well. The basket is really easy to get to as well, so not hard to pack at the checkout. In terms of basket space, I have to give the Cruz a 10/10!
