The newly formed (est. 2012) My Babiie brand are UK based and provide affordable and fashionable baby gear. For the trend loving mummies out there, they have teamed up with TOWIE star and mum, Billie Faiers and created pretty strollers so mums and tots can look bang on trend whilst strolling to the shops.

Getting the MB51 out if the box and setting it up was a speedy task that required minimal effort. The stroller clicked together with ease and the discovery of the accessories included within the box makes it all the more exciting.

When all set up, the MB51 is a striking stroller to look at in whichever colour you choose. The frame has more presence than your average umbrella stroller with its angular shape and chunky design. It definitely feels solid and sturdy, there is no doubt about that.

The handlebars on the stroller are in-keeping with the chunky angular frame and are covered in grey easy grip rubber. The fact that the handlebars are height adjustable up to 107cm is a great feature for a stroller and an added bonus for taller parents.

The weight of the stroller may strike you when first assembling out of the box. At 10.5kg it isn't the lightest stroller we have tested but rest assured, once the wheels are on, it pushes as light as a feather.

The shopping basket on the MB51 is large enough to keep your small essentials in but like most strollers, the access to the basket can be difficult when the seat is in its recline position.

The wheels on the stroller emulate that super modern, super sleek appearance that Fashion loving parents will be swooning over. The front wheels are elegant and slim, whilst the rear wheels are hard working but sleek double stroller wheels to drive you over urban walkways. The front wheels can be locked off to tackle cobbles or whenever needed and when in swivel mode allow the pushchair to turn on a sixpence - great in shops with small aisles and in public transport.

Simple and reliable, the brake on the MB51 is a foot pedal brake. There is a chunky black brake pedal on either rear wheel of the stroller. The pedal is plenty big enough for you to find in a hurry whilst stop starting in your favourite high street shops or erring on and off the bus. Just press down on either brake pedal to engage the brake and flick up with your toes to release.

The seat on the My Babiie MB51 can be used from birth as it's roomy and measures 50cm tall, with a lay flat position. The seat length is made even longer in the lie flat position, thanks to the strollers adjustable calf rest. It's also comfortably padded so your little one can stroll in style and luxury. When the included apron is added, the stroller is even cosier and winter ready.

You can still check on your sleeping baby in whatever position the seat may be in, thanks to the peekaboo window in the top panel of the hood.

Speaking of hoods, the hood on the MB51 stroller is great. It gives thorough coverage of your baby to shelter them from sun, wind or rain.

The harness is a simple to use five point harness system which can be adjusted to suit babies of all sizes, keeping the passenger nice and secure in their seat.

A bumper bar is a great feature to have on a stroller, and there's one on the MB51. It is full removable, though you can still fold the stroller with the number bar intact, which is great if you are in a rush. Our little testers loved holding on to the bumper bar whilst sat in the MB51.

The fold of the MB51 is a classic umbrella fold action. To achieve the fold, push the central lever up with your foot, then push down on the side lever to fold the stroller forwards. There is an auto lock clasp which keeps the package neatly folded together for you whilst you transport the stroller and a rubber carry handle on the side of the frame. We found this great for carrying the stroller in and out of car boots and on and off buses, even if the stroller was a touch heavy for carrying for long distances - which is highly unlikely anyway.

Conclusion

The My Babiie MB51 is a modern stroller designed for parents who like to be fashionable but still need the practicality of  hard working easy to use stroller.

The strong frame and hard wearing wheels mean this stroller is great for daily use on school runs, shopping trips or days out. Although heavy to lift, it handles beautifully when being pushed and the added accessories of the raincover, cup holder and apron make it real value for money.
