Mountain Buggy are best known for producing hardy and functional products for parents who love to venture into the great outdoors with their little ones. After all, why should the adventures stop when baby comes along?
We've taken the Mountain Buggy range to where it belongs, the mountains, in the beautiful and dramatic surroundings of The Peak District National Park in Derbyshire.
Mums Zoe, Allie, Nell, Lydia, Clare and Lucy along with their gorgeous little ones, helped us put a range of Mountain Buggy products to the test including the Swift, Urban Jungle, Duet, Terrain and the Juno!
We took the all-terrain pushchair range from Mountain Buggy as well as the Juno ergonomic baby carrier up the challenging and mystical terrains of Mam Tor in Castleton and on to the village of Edale in the Hope Valley.
Mum Zoe and little ones Caitlin and Emilia tested out the Mountain Buggy Terrain pushchair and the Mountain Buggy Juno carrier for us. The Terrain is the most serious all-terrain lover out of Mountain Buggy's pushchair collection and Zoe loved how it absorbed every lump and bump up on the rickety paths of Mam Tor so little Caitlin was able to enjoy a smooth ride without being thrown about. Zoe also loved the spacious basket underneath the Mountain Buggy Terrain. 15 week old baby Emilia had a snug day being cradled in the Juno and mum Zoe found it extremely comfortable for both baby and carrier. Mum and baby loved the all weather canopy "which not only looked stylish but also protected baby's head no matter what mother nature had in store."
Mums Allie and Nell alongside little ones Rupert and Percival tested out the brand new Mountain Buggy Duet V3 for us. Allie was impressed by super soft seats on the Duet and loved how they reclined separately and fully so that Rupert and Percy could enjoy a well deserved nap whilst up on the mountains. Allie also loved the security of having the brake on the handle and liked how lightweight the Duet V3 felt, even when pushing uphill with two babies on board.
Mum Clare and 5 month old baby Isabelle put the Mountain Buggy Swift to the test. Clare said, "Isabelle loved the buggy she was really content, she fell asleep so easily and I was able to fully recline her. The swift buggy was so light and easy to manoeuvre. I loved the material, it felt great quality especially the soft to touch padding inside."
Lydia and little Jacob tested out the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle up the challenging trails of Mam Tor. Lydia said, "My son, Jacob clearly enjoyed being in the pram, he didn't complain once! He was very comfortable and high up, which made him able to see the beautiful views. The pram was so sturdy and it was so easy to go over bumps smoothly. The break on the handlebar function was ideal and very secure, which went well with the handle bar strap, making me feel my son was safe in the pram. The bright blue colour really made the pram stand out and the seat was so padded my son almost fell asleep even going over the bumps. It really is an all terrain buggy! Thanks for letting us be a part of the day."
Mountain Buggy products have been designed for parents and children to live ‘Life without Limits' and the whole range did just that, allowing our parents and children to experience the most spectacular views. Our testers had a fabulous time exploring the mountains and taking in the breath-taking surroundings before heading down to the Ramblers Inn, in Edale, where they enjoyed a well- earned rest after a hard day exploring!
